In effort to increase level of knowledge about security and effects that can be achieved by implementing functional security systems, Alarm Automatika prepares second conference about security in retail sector in Zagreb at March 4th 2010.

Integrated security solutions in retail – from facility to the article

First conference (www.alarmautomatika.com/savjetovanje2008/) was about different aspects of security policy in retail (fire safety, security management, insurance), and main message was that all safety and security measures have to be associated in unique security policy.

Subject of second conference is how to design integrate technical security system (from facility to the article) in function of loss prevention and shrinkage. Specific characteristic of different types of shops are going to be described from aspect of adequate security measures and shrinkage. Intention is to help participants’ to articulate demands from security systems, how to place elements of security systems in place, which characteristic of the equipment are relevant for accomplishing desire functions and how to integrate and centralize security systems. Results published in the latest The Global Retail Theft Barometer (www.retailresearch.org) will be also presented. Integration of video surveillance and EAS will be demonstrated.

Lecturers from Alarm Automatika are Renata Dončević, Boris Popović, Emil Prpić and Čedo Martinović. Opening lecture will hold Mr. Marijan Benko, CSO in Agrokor d.d. and Mr. Mate Laušić, CSO in retail chain Getro d.d.
