EMS Project Successfully Completed in Montenegro

On June 30th, 2025, the official handover of the EMS (Energy Monitoring System) project took place at the Ministry of Energy and Mining building in Podgorica, marking the successful completion of the project.

Montenegro’s energy efficiency improvement program has been ongoing for several years and is being implemented in multiple phases. In addition to building reconstruction, the project included the establishment of a Central Information System for monitoring energy consumption in public buildings – developed and implemented by Alarm automatika.

The project covers a total of 193 public buildings across Montenegro, where a unified solution was installed for monitoring electricity and water consumption, as well as tracking the carbon footprint (CO2 emissions).

On behalf of the Ministry of Energy and Mining, the project handover was signed by Božidar Pavlović, Director General of the Directorate for Energy Efficiency, with colleagues Đorđina Lovrić and Merisa Zoronjić in attendance.

Representing Alarm automatika, the handover was signed by Project Director Senad Džabija, joined by Finance Director Milica Blečić and colleagues from the Montenegrin office, Mladen Savović and Maida Kurtagić. Project Manager Milan Đukanović was also present at the meeting.

Alarm automatika will continue to provide system maintenance services for the next five years.

Tvrtka Alarm automatika nastavit će pružati uslugu održavanja sustava i u narednih pet godina.
