Safety solutions on boats

fire alarm – gas alarm – security lighting – voice notification

Due to specific operating conditions such as humidity and salt, equipment used on ships must have special certificates that guarantee compliance with international maritime regulations. Fire alarm systems may only be installed by companies with special authorizations.

Alarm automatika is authorized by the Croatian Register of Ships to install fire alarm systems on ships.

Addressable fire alarm

Addressable fire alarm systems from Olympia Electronics have all the necessary certificates to operate in specific conditions such as those found on ships, such as salt or moisture (Bureau Veritas (BV) certificate). They can be used on ships or in demanding applications such as marinas.

  • Fire alarm panels with one, two or four loops
  • Smoke, temperature and dual (smoke and temperature) detectors
  • Manual call points with integrated isolator
  • Siren with strobe light
  • Input/output module with integrated isolator

Gas Alarm

The PolyMarine series of devices from MSR Electronics is designed to detect hazardous gases on ships, such as CO, NO2, gasoline vapours or propane. The sensors on the detectors are exchangeable, which significantly reduces the cost and time of system maintenance.

Emergency Lighting

Marine Electronics emergency luminary light for emergency lighting systems is certified for use on ships (Lloyd’s Register Type Approval System). It is waterproof, self-testing and available in maintained/non maintained versions.

Speakers adapted for use on ships

Fonestar Sonora and Sky loudspeakers are salt-resistant certified and therefore suitable for use in the specific operating conditions of ships. They can also be used in the function of evacuation and informing people about dangers.
