At its traditional Fire Detection and Fire Protection conference, Zaštita magazine gathered more than 300 participants who, on September 29, 2026, followed over 10 lectures addressing fire protection issues. Discussions focused on regulations, the organization of firefighting units, and current trends in fire detection.
Our colleague Vedran Mihaljević delivered a well-received lecture at the conference titled Dynamic Emergency Lighting with a Demonstration, during which he emphasized the importance of unambiguous, highly visible, and dynamic visual stimuli designed to instantly break mass passivity. A dynamic lighting system by Olympia Electronics was demonstrated, enabling intelligent evacuation guidance by preventing people from moving toward danger and actively reducing crowding. Alarm automatika showcased the Inim Previdia fire alarm control panel at its booth, which controls dynamic safety lighting in the event of a fire.
